Secretariat of Scientific Affairs

an introduction :

Secretariat of Scientific Affairs considered essential pillar of the university, and contribute to achieving the vision, mission and goals of the university across multiple channels and seek continuous development of follow through modernization and development of curricula and methods, means and techniques of teaching and activating scientific applications making the beneficiary of a student Faculty member centric working to scientific stability and continuous development practice and implementation of scientific programs and training for faculty and students and to encourage scientific research among all the faculties of the University and other universities within and outside the country.

The emergence of Scientific Affairs:

Scientific Affairs established in 1997 under Secretary of Scientific Affairs and deputy with helping of heads of departments  of management professors Affairs, Admissions, academic record and certificates, professors Council Affairs, the unit of account.

The functions of the secretariat of the Scientific Affairs:

The Secretariat of Scientific Affairs functions sum up as follows

: general supervision of the admission and registration of students and procedures referred

. extraction and adoption certificates for graduates of different colleges.

 supervision of the Council of Professors and its committees and follow-up recommendations and resolutions, and save its own recordings.

 supervision on the order of assistants and faculty members and follow-up procedures   to send them internally and externally, and follow-up reports about them.

 Observe the exams and make sure procedures in accordance with the regulations of the university.

 preparation of university statistics and supervise the printing of official versions of the university (University guide).

 receipt of a sufficient number of application forms from the Public Administration for Admission .

 collection  of application form and  its attachments that meet liabilities nominations and deliver it of public administration for admission.

 prepare academic calendar.

 receive lists of the names of candidates for admission to various university programs.

 receiving from school districts manage lists of names of students who have signed up to study in different programs at the beginning of each semester.

 names curriculum programs for students enrolled to study at the beginning of each semester . 

 receipt of the results of examinations of students at the end of each semester of school districts administrations.

 extract graduation certificates.

 create relationships with higher education institutions within and outside the Sudan. 

About UofB

Since the Higher Education revolution set off and the expansion caused by the revolution. A group of local notables Duwaim initiated to catch up, commit several meetings in Duwaim continued meetings in Khartoum, the active participation of the people from Duwaim in the National Capital . In order to prepare additional memorandum Foundation calls for the establishment of the university in the region.
